Children's Cluster 2024

SOAR to New Heights!

We are excited to announce that we are hosting the annual South Central Region Children’s Cluster on Saturday, April 13, 2024, on the beautiful campus of Paul Quinn College!

Children’s Cluster is one of the cornerstone events for Jack and Jill of America, Inc. This year’s theme, “S.O.A.R. to New Heights”, will feature a full day of hands-on activities, careers exposure, educational sessions, and oratorical contests, for over 300 children centered in the World of AERONAUTICS!

From airplanes to spaceships, we want to immerse each attendee in activities that inspire them to SOAR - “S.T.E.M., Oratorical, Arts and Athletics, Relationship Building”. According to Zippia.com, less than 4% of airplane pilots are women and only 2.2% are Black/African American. There is much work to be done to create diverse voices and perspectives in the world of aviation to ensure not just representation but influence from communities of color.
