Children's Cluster 2024

SOAR to New Heights!

We are excited to announce that we are hosting the annual South Central Region Children’s Cluster on Saturday, April 13, 2024, on the beautiful campus of Paul Quinn College!

Children’s Cluster is one of the cornerstone events for Jack and Jill of America, Inc. This year’s theme, “S.O.A.R. to New Heights”, will feature a full day of hands-on activities, careers exposure, educational sessions, and oratorical contests, for over 300 children centered in the World of AERONAUTICS!

From airplanes to spaceships, we want to immerse each attendee in activities that inspire them to SOAR - “S.T.E.M., Oratorical, Arts and Athletics, Relationship Building”. According to, less than 4% of airplane pilots are women and only 2.2% are Black/African American. There is much work to be done to create diverse voices and perspectives in the world of aviation to ensure not just representation but influence from communities of color.

1) Does Children's Cluster qualify as a "1 in 4" event?  Although Cluster is not a "1 in 4" event, it is considered the BEST opportunity for children to meet youth from other chapters in their COE and begin to engage and form lasting friendships throughout the region!

2) When does registration begin?  Registration opens on 2/18/2024 at 8AM.  A link will be sent from the South Central Region with the information needed to register via Eventbrite.  The link will also be posted here once registration opens!

3) When does registration close?  Registration will close on 2/25/2024 at 5PM or when capacity is reached.

4) If I register, but later determine I'm unable to attend, can registration be cancelled?  Registrations are non-cancellable and non-refundable, but can be transferred to another mother member.  Contact the COE Cluster Chair for details.

4) When does Children's Cluster begin?  The Dallas COE Children's Cluster will be held on April 13 on the campus of Paul Quinn CollegeCheck in will begin at 7:30 AM and the amazing, hands-on programming will begin shortly thereafter!
